What are the Career Spark Awards (CSAs)?
Handshake’s inaugural Career Spark Awards (CSAs) use Handshake data to recognize the top career centers in three categories—student engagement, employer engagement, and reporting and analytics. Fun fact: Only 2% of our higher education partner network won this award.
What are the components of the CSAs?
- Methodology: Career centers are evaluated in three categories—student engagement, employer engagement and curation, and reporting, analytics, and First Destination Survey (FDS)—all based on Handshake data.
- Winners: There are 31 winners total this year. Three winners per school type (4-year public, 4-year private, minority serving institution, community college) in each of the three categories, with five schools winning in multiple categories.
- Date range of data pull: July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023
